vinekit
[character image]
the basics
the basics
name: vinekit -> vinepaw -> vinewater
age: one month
sex: dfab
gender: cis female, possibly bigender in the future
sexuality: unknown
clan: windclan
rank: kit
adopted?: adopted
physique
base coat: browntabby markings: mackerel
white markings: none
eyes: yellow-ish green
differences: vinekit currently doesn't have any blindness but she has unilateral hearing loss [roughly 25 dB hearing loss in her left ear] which will get worse over time. currently she hears things pretty well when cat's speak to her from her left side though she misses a letter every now and then. she also misses roughly 10% of verbal cues when they are spoken from more than 3 feet away and directed towards her left side, and this is increased with background noise.
allegiance: a small brown mackerel tabby with yellow-ish green eyes
full description: vinekit has short fur that isn't really fluffy and more so fairly smooth. mackerel marks adorn her pelt and snake all the way across her pelt akin to a vine, most likely how she got her name. she is rather small for a one month kit and will stay relatively smaller than average for most if not all of her life. she has yellow-green eyes that compliment her pelt. she has average size legs if not on the longer side of things, and an average tail if not slightly longer than average.
relations
biological mother: echospots, agender, alive, link
biological father: unknown currently, alive
brother: rainkit, undecided currently [don't know until their app], alive
biological father: unknown currently, alive
brother: rainkit, undecided currently [don't know until their app], alive
personality
positive traits:
playful just like any kit, she loves to play but she has a certain hesitance about playing. she's afraid that the other cats are too rough and that they'd hurt her when they play, so she tends to play alone a lot of the time.
quiet as she isn't a loud-mouth. she keeps to herself and sticks close to her mother. even as she ages she'll remain relatively quiet, while we may get a bit of a voice and speak loudly she will probably not speak much or often; unless she has to.
observant, she enjoys watching the cats around her and seeing what they're doing. she's quick to pick up on little things that other cats are doing, even if she doesn't entirely understand what those things may be or mean yet.
patient despite being a kit and a trait she'll grow into more than anything. she has a lot of patience, and it tends to be hard to make her impatient or irritated. she tends to be a bit of a whiner though since she doesn't want to get her.
negative traits:
easily distracted even though she is observant. small things can catch her attention and distract her from something that she had been focusing on previously. it's easy for her to get side swept.
spacey as in, if she doesn't have anything to observe or watch she'll sort of retreat into her head. she will look like she's staring off into the distance even though she's really just thinking or daydreaming.
restless even though she is content lounging around all day. she wants something to do, something to see, and she feels the need to move even if she doesn't understand why. not much of an adventure type, but also sort of likely to sneak out of camp.
timid currently which may be something she'll grow out of. she's less of a fighter and more shy than anything. she tries to avoid confrontation or topics/attempts that have a lot of weight attached.
other traits:
disloyal will be something she'll become as she's older. she wouldn't be afraid of betraying the warrior code if it means helping another cat. that's why it is fairly neutral, an inherently bad trait that she'll use for good.
indifferent as she doesn't always have very many opinions and she will not often state what she is thinking either. she will listen on a topic and chalk it up as "it doesn't concern her".
open-minded even though she doesn't state it. she doesn't know why she has to state she is accepting or okay with something when that should be the default of other cats ideology.

vinekit hasn't been around very long, that's for sure. she's only about a month old currently and one of two kits born to echospots and an unknown [currently] tom. her brother is rainkit, she has made many friends yet. she's rather small and pretty weak as the other kits seem to be older than her.
